Is the Best 3D TV The Right Option?

The landscape of high definition viewing has moved at a fast pace over the last couple of years. Never has buying a TV been a more complicated affair than it is at the moment. For quite a while the only choice that buyers faced was whether to go for an LCD or plasma TV. Then a couple of years ago we were given the additional option of LED TV. And even more recently came internet TVs and Smart TVs which are more or less the same thing. However the biggest development over the last year has been 3D TV.

The question many consumers are asking themselves is whether or not they should buy a 3D capable set or not. A year ago when 3D TVs were in their infancy there seemed little reason to opt for a 3D TV as there was only a very limited amount of 3D content available. This has changed somewhat over the last twelve months and the situation is set to improve even further with many TV broadcasters having 3D channels in the pipeline, as well as the ever increasing list of 3D movies that are being released on Bluray. And this is without even mentioning 3D gaming and 3D internet streaming which is available using the internet capabilities of the very latest Smart TVs.

So even if you’re not fully convinced that 3D is for you at the moment, then it is still wise to invest in a 3D capable model rather than going for a 2D only model as you may regret wasting your investment. And whilst mentioning the price it is worth noting that 3D TVs are now more affordable than ever with 3D models hardly costing any more than their 2D only equivalents. Don’t forget that 3D TVs are still 2D capable.

If you do opt for a 3D TV then the best 3D TV brands to choose from are Panasonic, Samsung and LG.
