Having Fun With Your Own Teen Book Club

My friends and I love to read amazing books for young adults. I could remember well how we would excitedly share stories we read over the long summer vacation. We had a favorite book back then, Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. We spend hours and hours just talking about the book and relating it to our own reality. Amazing books for young adults are unforgettable reads. Making it an ideal material for a book discussion session.

There is no shortage of amazing books to read. Do you want to have the chance to read great books with other people and share your thoughts about it – together? Start a teen book club! Setting this up is easy. It is fun and a good way to meet people.

Advertise you book club. Tell your friends about it. Spread the word. Email people and put up posters in your school. The more you advertise the better. Do not forget to think of a catchy name for your book club. This will add interest and desire for affiliation from your prospective “members”.

You can choose to meet as often as you like although the average meet is at least once a month. Set a schedule for your first meeting and decide for the venue. Rotating between members’ homes is not a bad idea.

There are many amazing books for teenagers to choose from. You can let each member write down their own list of the most amazing books. You can then deliberate later and finalize it through a vote.

Perhaps each member can throw one question for the group to answer to facilitate discussion. To really enjoy amazing books do not forget to prepare some snacks and drinks!

When I look back, I still get that happy feeling reminiscing our “sessions”, discussing amazing books for young adults. When we decided to read mystery romance novels we had such a great time exploring it because of the complicated plots. I suggest you start from the same genre too and have a blast on your first meeting.
