Two great new recent discoveries from the University of California in Los Angeles, also most commonly known as UCLA, have provided the scientific community with a lot of bread for thought, in the last months. These university’s scientists claim to have found not only a cure for baldness, but also a cure for HIV as well. Before we jump into conclusions quickly, let’s first take a look at these two discoveries and what stands behind them.
After the researchers tried to study a new artificial hormone, or an anti stress artificial hormone to be exact, they were absolutely shocked to see that this hormone not only provided a cure for baldness among older mice who were formerly bald, but also prevented younger mice to prevent hair loss in the first place. These results came with a huge surprise, and the group of scientists have already patented their discovery, in the hope to provide it on the shelves for the consumer, and get a big paycheck for their research. Only time will tell if hair loss is indeed a problem of the past.
Also, from the same university, UCLA, researchers found out, or so they claim, a potential cure for AIDS. After trying to study a leukemia new treatment in patient Timothy Brown in Berlin, the scientists managed to get the HIV virus completely out of the patient’s body. Even five years later, Timothy remains HIV free, and that certainly marks the sign for a new era among medicine and humanity as a one. The scientists have decided to keep their profile low, to avoid misinformed data to be acquired by sensitive patients.
UCLA is proud of these two researchers, which provide a potential cure to two of the most scary diseases among men worldwide. We are all hope that these two new cures, and especially the one for HIV, will be officially declared shortly, and many of the bald and HIV patients will have a true reason to be rejoicing like never before.
