Their interior mounting system makes them seem minimalistic and continuous against the wall, but their ballooning effect can add a personal touch to your home’s decor. They are also extremely affordable. Even custom roman shades are much more affordable than most other window treatments including curtains and plantation shutters. However, all shades are limited in their control of light, ventilation, and privacy so be aware that the savings do come at a cost.
